Haiti Earthquake, January 12, 2010. We’re offering all our prayers to the people of Haiti after their island nation has been struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. Buildings toppled and communications were knocked out. Many people were injured.

Canada will be providing emergency assistance to the Haiti people according to Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The Haiti earthquake has devastated a lot of families including Canadians who were residing in the island. The Haitian community members in Canada are also at a state of panic as they scramble to reach their affected relatives although as of the moment, nobody is getting through the communication lines.
